Day 4 - My Adventures in Glasgow!!! (My First Shift) (24th July)

After having a lie in, today was my first shift at Hampden Park! After having some breakfast, I relaxed at the campsite for the rest of morning, watching the television in the bar!

After some lunch, I got myself ready and took the bus to Battlefield Road and then a walk to Hampden Park! After checking in we were taken to the workforce break area. (All members of the Results Technology area were there today)! 

After being given a talk about the team and venue by Hannah and Louise our managers, Hannah took us on a tour of the venue which included the warm up area (Lesser Hampden) and the track ending back at the workforce break area! 

We then had some food before going with Hannah to the Print Distribution Room for a presentation and then going on another walk showing us some of the routes we would have to take to deliver the printed results!

Finally Hannah took me and the other team leaders back to the Print Distribution Room for a talk about what we would have to do during our shifts. Not much done today apart from walking and listening to people talk but glad I done my first shift and will be back tomorrow for a broadcast rehearsal of our job (a practise run)! 

With my shift done, I walked back to the bus stop and took the bus back to the campsite. I then relaxed back in the bar watching the television before going to bed ahead of my second shift tomorrow!!
