After having a lie in, today I was going to go sightseeing in Glasgow! After some breakfast I took a train from Dumbreck to Glasgow Central Station!
After a walk around the main shopping area! I had some lunch and then went on the Glasgow City Sightseeing Bus Tour.
The whole bus tour took about two hours and visited the Glasgow Cathedral, Glasgow Green, People Palace, Glasgow Science Museum, BBC Scotland Studios, SECC, The Hydro, Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship Museum, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow University, Byres Road (Shopping Street with a Little Waitrose in), Botanic Gardens, Kelvin Hall (Venue where I picked up my Uniform and Accreditation) and Glasgow School of Art.
The plan for the rest of day fell on its head. I was going to take the train back to the campsite to watch the Queen's Baton Relay coming by the campsite but problems with the trains meant I didn't leave Glasgow Central Station till after 6pm meaning I missed it! Should have just done more exploring instead!
After finally getting back to the campsite, I rested for the evening in the bar area and had some tea! Lots of walking done and it was time for bed.
