Saturday 5th July 2014 – Picking up Uniform and Accreditation!
Alarm goes off at 6:00am. I'm out of bed dashing to get
ready to get to Birmingham Airport for my 8.55am flight to Glasgow
International Airport.
Once arrived in Glasgow I took a taxi to UAC AKA Uniform and
Accreditation Centre which was at Kevin Hall for my 11am appointment.
First
up I had my documents checked and my accreditation pass created! I then went to
another part to pick up my accreditation! Next up was to try on and choose my
uniform! After waiting for my number I was taken into a changing room to try on
my uniform!
The uniform felt very comfortable
and looked good on me – even if I do say so myself!
So now with my uniform intact I feel
like a real Clyde-Sider! After a journey back to the city centre and a
bit of lunch, it was time to go back home. So I took a bus back to the airport
and then a plane back to Birmingham! So I am fully trained and have my uniform,
the next time I'm in Glasgow will be for the Games themselves! Bring it on!!!
